Barrel sleeve / barrel extension

Reduced impact circle due to high-quality barrel sleeve

What is a barrel sleeve suitable for?

If you want to improve the hit pattern when shooting, i.e. reduce the spread of hits, you need reliable and robust material, among other things.

The barrel sleeve is a valuable aid in optimizing your own shot pattern and reducing the distance between hits.
Well-known shooters and Olympic athletes such as Rajmond Debevec, Matthew Emmons and the inventor Guy Starik also use the advantages of reduced vibrations in sporting rifles at tournaments.

Production details and technical data

Barrel sleeves are usually made of steel, aluminum or high-quality carbon.
With the aid of a tuner, some barrel sleeves reduce the impact radius by 3 - 4 millimetres and thus immediately ensure a smaller, more compact image on the target.
Depending on the length, the sleeve weighs approx. 200 grams depending on the model, so there is no need to worry about an extreme front-heavy weight shift on the rifle with lightweight barrel sleeves. The product is therefore even suitable for upright shooting, whereas comparable cases are mainly recommended for prone shooting.
The standardized versions are approx. 19 or 32 centimetres long. Special sizes can be made to order, the delivery time will be extended accordingly.
The clamp measures only approx. 25 millimetres on the various models and is located directly at the muzzle.

Improved material

The carbon tube ensures excellent vibration damping and high rigidity with minimum weight.

Thermal expansion is low and the product is hardly susceptible to corrosion.
The case can be adjusted by turning the tuner and levelling fast and slow ammunition. It is perfectly balanced when no difference can be seen between the two different types of ammunition

Extended barrel

The barrel extension helps to improve shooting performance by shifting the balance, "barrel tuning" (movement of the barrel weights) and extending the sight line.
The barrel extension for small-caliber rifles, which is also made of carbon, is clamped directly onto the barrel. The position of the front sight carrier can be individually adjusted and the Walther and Anschütz brands already have the indexing ring included; the barrel extension is also available for the Bleiker brand.

Maintenance

Maintenance of the barrel sleeve and barrel extension is uncomplicated.
Cleaning with a plastic brush is recommended every 1000 rounds when the powder has dried out.
